Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 24, 2026 · Last updated: April 24, 2026
Her Becoming ("Her Becoming," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit herbecoming.world or purchase our digital products, how we use that information, and the choices you have.
The short version. We collect the minimum information needed to deliver what you buy and keep the site working. We don't sell your data. We don't run behavioral ads. Purchase data is handled by PayPal under their privacy policy, and your co-parenting data in Paper Trail lives in your spreadsheet — not on our servers.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Purchase information. When you buy a product, PayPal processes payment and shares with us your name, email address, billing country, and transaction ID. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Email subscriptions. If you subscribe to updates or a welcome sequence, we collect the email address you provide and record the time and source of your consent.
- Support requests. If you email hello@herbecoming.world, we receive the contents of your message along with your email address.
Information collected automatically
- Log data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) automatically logs IP addresses, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps for security, performance, and abuse-prevention purposes.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are read, which links are followed, and where visitors arrive from. It sets first-party cookies and processes a truncated version of your IP address. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we never combine it with your name or email.
Information we do not collect
Her Becoming does not collect, receive, or store the co-parenting information you enter into the Paper Trail spreadsheet. That file lives on your own device, your own Google Drive, or your own iCloud — we never see it.
2. How we use information
- To deliver the digital products you purchase and provide download links and receipts.
- To send the welcome sequence and support messages associated with a product you bought.
- To respond to your questions, bug reports, and refund requests.
- To comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting rules.
- To protect Her Becoming, our users, and the public from fraud, abuse, and security threats.
3. Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA / UK)
Where GDPR applies, we process your data on the following bases: contract (to deliver the product you purchased), consent (for email marketing beyond the purchase transaction), legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, aggregate analytics), and legal obligation (tax and record-keeping).
4. Cookies
We use three kinds, and we would rather tell you plainly which is which.
- Strictly necessary. Required to operate the site and complete checkout. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics. Google Analytics 4 sets first-party cookies to measure aggregate usage. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on, or through your browser's cookie controls.
- Advertising. Our Store and checkout may use advertising cookies from Meta and TikTok, so we can measure whether our advertising works. You can control these in your Meta ad settings and your TikTok privacy settings.
Where advertising technology is never used. The Table pages carry no analytics and no advertising cookies of any kind. That is a deliberate part of what that membership is, and you are welcome to check the page source. The Circle pages use analytics but never advertising cookies.
PayPal and Shopify set their own cookies during checkout, governed by PayPal's Privacy Statement and Shopify's Privacy Policy.
5. Service providers we share data with
We share the minimum information necessary with a small number of vendors:
- PayPal — payment processing.
- Cloudflare — site hosting, DNS, and security.
- Google Analytics — aggregate site analytics.
- Shopify — store hosting and checkout.
- Meta and TikTok — advertising measurement, on Store pages only.
- Email delivery provider — to send receipts, download links, and the welcome sequence.
- Google — only if you voluntarily install the optional Paper Trail Pro Calendar Sync add-on, which runs inside your own Google account. Her Becoming does not receive the data from that sync.
Each provider is bound by their own privacy obligations and may be located in the United States.
6. How long we keep data
We retain purchase records for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically 7 years). Email subscribers remain on the list until they unsubscribe. Support emails are retained for up to 24 months unless needed for an ongoing issue.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@herbecoming.world. We will respond within 30 days.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA / CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete. We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
8. Children
Her Becoming is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
Her Becoming is based in the United States. If you access the site from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US under the safeguards described in this policy.
10. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, reputable vendors, and least-privilege access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we make a real and ongoing effort to protect the data we hold.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated by email where we have your address.
