A Compass practice · Guardian edition

The Bearings.

You know where you stand. Now know what to do next.

Thirty days, one real action a day, for the woman who already tracks every dollar and still doesn’t feel safe. No lessons. No video. Just the next thing to do, and a way to know you’ve done it.

The arc

Week 1What tracking can't tell you
Week 2In your own name
Week 3Decide one thing
Week 4The plan you trust
Who it's for

You are not short of information.

You reconcile weekly. You could tell me your grocery average. And you have not made a decision about the next five years, because a decision means assuming things and you do not assume.

That vigilance is why you have options at all. It is also why nothing moves. Watching and steering are different skills, and only one of them has ever been asked of you.

Thirty days of steering. Ten to forty minutes each, most of them around twenty.

How it works

Built to be done, not read.

01

One action a day.

Each day names why it is today, what to do, and what finished looks like. No day ends in "think about it".

02

It waits for you.

Numbered by day, not dated. Miss a week and it is exactly where you left it. Tick a day off and the page remembers.

03

Your notes stay yours.

Every note you write is stored in your own browser, never on a server. Print the whole practice if you would rather work on paper.

Where it hands you off. Several days end by telling you to put a numbered question to your attorney or your CPA. That is the point, not a gap — knowing exactly which question to ask, and of whom, is what turns an open-ended engagement into a short one.

Nothing is hidden behind the price.

Here is every day, in order. If the list alone is enough for you to go and do it, take it and go.

Questions

Before you start.

How is this different from The Groundwork?

The Groundwork teaches — nine modules on how this all works. The Bearings only asks you to do. One action a day, no lessons, no video. If you already understand your situation and keep not acting on it, this is the one you want.

And the Money Story Workbook?

The Workbook names the pattern you run with money. The Bearings is what you do about it. They work in that order, but neither needs the other.

Why the Guardian edition first?

The Guardian is the woman who already tracks every dollar and still doesn't feel safe. She doesn't need to be told to look — she needs permission to decide. That's a different thirty days from someone who can't open the banking app, so each money story gets its own edition rather than one set of days pretending to fit everybody.

I don't know which one I am.

The Financial Compass quiz takes about ninety seconds and names it. It's free.

How long does a day take?

Between five and forty minutes, most around twenty. Four of the thirty are short review days on purpose. Total across the month is about 585 minutes.

What if I miss days?

Nothing breaks. It's dated by day number, not by calendar date, so it waits for you. Tick what you've done and carry on where you left off.

Is my writing private?

Everything you type stays in your own browser on your own device. It never reaches a server and I can't see it.

What if it isn't right for me?

Fourteen days, no questions. Email hello@herbecoming.world for a full refund.

Not sure which edition is yours?

The Financial Compass names your money story in about ninety seconds. It is free, and it tells you whether the Guardian edition is the one built for you.
